Sexual Assualts: No culprit will be spared, says Deeper Life High School|LAGOS EYE NEWS

Deeper Life High School on Monday said investigation into the alleged maltreatment and abuse of one of their student named ‘Davis’ has commenced. Assuring that no culprit, whether staff or student, will be spared if found culpable at the end of the exercise.

This contained in a statement issued by the school management over a viral post on the molestation of a JSS 1 student at in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State had earlier ordered an investigation into the alleged maltreatment and abuse of the said student.

According to the statement as quoted “We will like to categorically restate that Deeper Life High School is built on the core values of godliness and excellence and will not tolerate any immoral act or molestation of any student.We believe Parents/Guardians enroll their wards in our schools all over the country because of the strong perception that ours offer a sure-footed platform for moral armament and academic excellence.

“We want to assure the general public that investigation into the case has commenced and no culprit, whether staff or student, will be spared if found culpable at the end of the exercise.

“We firmly assure the discerning public that the outcome of the investigation will be made known and appropriate disciplinary action will be meted to culprits in this unfortunate act that admittedly threatens to cast unnecessary aspersions on a unique institution that has been a shining example to all over the years, said management.

Recall, Deborah Okezie, Davis’ mother had cried out to Nigerians, pleading for help to get justice for her son who had been molested by his senior students and starved consistently at the Uyo Campus of the school despite the full payment of school fees.

Iniobong Archibong, father of Don Davis, a student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, who was allegedly molested sexually by his seniors, has revealed that the school authorities told the family to withdraw the case to cover up the assault.
