The All Progressives Congress, State of Osun, chapter, has sworn- in Members of the State Caretaker Committee on Thursday at the State Party secretariat of the ruling party in line with the directive of the apex body of the party.
It will be recalled that the Chairman of the state committee, Prince Gboyega Famodun, had earlier been sworn-in by the National Caretaker/Convention Committee of the party in Abuja last week following the dissolution of all the excos of the party across all levels by the National Executive Committee of the party which was chaired by, President Muhammadu Buhari.
While speaking at the event, Prince Famodun, charged the new Caretaker Executives to be alive to their responsibility just as he noted that their tenure is time-bound.
Prince Famodun told the newly inaugurated caretaker committees the enormous responsibility precedence placed on them within the short period such as the forthcoming National party registration exercise, elective congress of the new officers of the party among others.
He urged all the interim state working committee members to ensure that they do their best to stabilize the party through the continuous engagement of stakeholders at all levels.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the inauguration, the newly appointed Publicity Secretary of the Party, Comr. Wole Adunola congratulated all the new caretaker committee members, he assured all party faithfuls that they will be dutiful and continue to work with the Governor Gboyega Oyetola administration to bring dividend of democracy to all citizens of Osun.
The inauguration had in attendance other members of the Executives like Hon.Rasaq Salinsile State Secretary, Aliu Akinloye Welfare Officer,Alhaja Fakokunde kudirat Women leader, Alhaji Rasheed Adeniji, Organizing secretary, Ogunsola Adegoke Legal Officer, Deaconess Sola Ayangbile Auditor, Engr Abiola ololade, Ex officio,Taju Agbeti Ex Officio,Wasiu Adesoji Ex officiol among others.
