Osun First Lady, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has reiterated her commitment to helping the vulnerable in the state. Urging the well-to-do citizens to do the same in order to make life better and safes place to live for all and sundry.

Mrs Oyetola said this in Apomu during an official handing over of a mentally challenged lady, Labake Najeem who now hale and hearty.

The Lady was sent for rehabilitation center three months ago during an official visit of the wife of the governor to Apomu community on the permission of the Alapomu of Apomu Oba Adenekan Afolabi.

Wife of the Governor doubled as the President IleriOluwa Development Initiatives explained that she has been on the rescue mission for the vulnerable in the society for years, especially people with mentally challenged issues or others ailment.

She appreciated God for the successful treatment of Labake Najeem whom in an unstable condition with pregnancy was healed.

“Labake is healed by the glory of God. Now handing her over officially to Alapomu in hale and hearty condition with her newborn baby girl.

Mrs Oyetola also commended the medical personnel at the State Specialist Hospital for a good conduct and their professionalism during Labake’s trying period till she healed.

“Support the girl through love, care and shun all forms of discrimination in order to allow her fulfill destiny as planned by God for her and her new baby girl, she urged the community.

While responding, Oba Adenekan Afolabi; Alapomu of Apomu and his wife lauded the kind gesture of Mrs Oyetola and pledged their unflinching support to take proper care of the girl and her new baby as their own child.
